The Bridge

Thanks to all who came out and experienced The Bridge.  These past 2 months have been amazing.  But we have only started building these Bridges.  As part of The Shoals, we know that it took 2 years for just the repairs on O’Neal Bridge and it is going to take longer to build the Bridges that were started this Summer.  We invite you to become a part of this “crew” as we continue to build those Bridges between us and God, each other, and into our Communities.  The Bridge Building has not stopped even though our Sunday morning schedule will change.

On August 6,  2017 we resume our usual schedule of extraordinary worship services beginning at 9:00 a.m. with The Edge Service.  This high energy service led by our Worship Leader Shane Baker and the rest of The Edge Band offers the opportunity not only for a casual dress code, but an open freedom to worship in a way that speaks to so many hearts.  If you have not been our guest, or it has been a while since you were our Guest, please come and see what God is offering you.

Our Life Group time begins at 10:00 a.m.  We offer a variety of groups for all ages.  We believe that these groups are key to building solid relationships that create environments where relationships are free to grow and flourish.  These groups are becoming like families.  We are committed in the coming months to offer even more of these groups not only here, but scattered throughout the area.  Some groups may choose to meet in homes, or a local coffee shop, or who knows, maybe at the running track or local bike shop.  The foundation of these groups is the relationship with God and the strength of these groups are in the human bonds they will nurture.

We have a well-trained and staffed Nursery for all gatherings on Sunday from 8:45 a.m. until the last service is over.  We also offer the Nursery on our Wednesday Night gatherings.  Our Nursery Staff are more than baby-sitters; they provide a spiritual environment where your children are loved and protected.

Then at 11:00 a.m. we begin our Traditional Service.  We recognize and value the rich heritage of this style of worship.  Our Choir is led by Dr. Terrance Brown and the quality and spirit of their music is truly inspiring.  The roots of Traditional Worship, from The Apostles Creed, The Lord’s Prayer, Doxology and more are incorporated into a time of worshipping God and celebrating the incredible grace offered to all through the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus.

Our Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. until Noon, and from 1:00 pm until 4:30 p.m.  You can also follow us through Facebook at or at

Join us in this incredible journey as we take our Next Steps in following Jesus.  There must be a Next Step because you cannot follow Jesus and stay where you are!  Grace, Mercy and Love to you!
